| Jack Pine - (Black Pine) Pinus banksiana (16 diameter, 30-45,000 pounds, 10-12' root balls) Three enormous trees were moved for a publishing icon to enhance his estate's landscape on a three hour trip from a forested Connecticut plantation to their final location in Pawling, New York. Ten to twelve foot root balls were dug, prepared (strapped) and moved, usually one per day. |
